Using my "faux filter" concept I turn microtonic into a lead synth that sounds like a saw wave going through a filter with overdriven resonance.

Percussion and lead synth is all microtonic (+ additional effects to sweeten the sound).

1) initialize drum patch
2) Set your project tempo really high
3) Fill a pattern with hits
4) Turn "mix" all the way to osc
5) Now mess with oscillator settings and distortion.
