Logic 9.18 - 32 bit mode

Summary - basically I cant record morph automation using a midi controller but I can draw it in.

I am using Microtonic in multi mode.

I have one sound loaded in the first slot.

I setup the morph feature so that this sound changes in pitch

I assign a dial on my Novation Xio to the morph bar

I set the Automation paramater for the relevent logic track to "Latch"

When I hit play in logic and move the Dial on my Xio the sound morphs as expected but the automation isn't recorded. Nothing happens in terms of recognising automation but the sound does change. I have to look for the relevant automation parameter (it doesn't even get selected) and then draw it in manually.

Surely I should be able to record this automation manually.
