Probably a dumb question, but...

I've read about Synplant 1 patches being useable in Synplant 2 (and can vouch for that working with my own patches) but, I wasn't sure whether patches made with Synplant 2 would work in Synplant 1?

I know the methodologies of patch-making have changed considerably but, wasn't sure if the actual synth engine within Synplant 2 had changed to the extent that any patch made in it would not work with the original Synplant.

I'm guessing it isn't compatible that way but, is that the case? Ta.
