When I try to adjust the Effect slider, envelope or the individual convolution mix knob genome the entire patch goes haywire. I assumed this was normal for some genomes since the routing would be complex and adjusting a parameter would have a cascading effect on other parameters.

There have been very few patches where those slider genomes work, most of the time it just sends the entire patch into a mess. So is the tweak-ability of each patch's genomes just dependent on the complexity/design of the patch itself?
