Hi
when I play a note sequence in my DAW and want to do some real time branch tweaking, or record an automation, I get the root note playing which makes tweaking actually impossible.
Only way to do something similar is to use the mod wheel, but it doesn't provide total independent control of the branches.
Please add an option to turn off the "preview on click"
I know I can use a controller, but it's a cumbersome workaround to move a single parameter. I want to be able to do quick realtime tweaks during playback just like with any other VST.
Apologies in advance if the option is already there.
Cheers
Yes, this is already possible in Synplant 2. Open the Main Menu and go to MIDI Settings, then set Output Channel to Off. That disables the note playback triggered when you play/edit branches from the user interface, so you can tweak branches during DAW playback without Synplant firing the preview/root note.
You may also want to turn off Select Branches with MIDI Notes in the same window if your MIDI sequence is changing the selected branch while you are editing. Use Make Default there if you want these MIDI settings for new Synplant instances too.
