Check out this early stage of a track I'm working on. This is nothing but a bunch of microtonics, one on each pad. Pads trigger all eight channels per unit, giving each eight times as much tonic. While bad for cocktails, this is great for layering/drum design. Very little going on here in terms of effects, some hipasses on kick and snare and some glue compressor smacking along on the bus. I don't know why the video is sideways, make sure to tilt your head to get the correct sound.
