How crazy would it be, if we had the possibility to directly export the genopatch bubbles/the mimicking tries, the possibilities of alteration the... well... the sheer endless sea of sonic wonders that is at our fingertips and grows out of a simple sample, or piece of foley foil, or breath, or word... press a single button that reads "export genopatch as audio" or maybe just "export" or "xport" or a smiley or a wave... cause it of course exports to wav and then a dialogue opens where you can select between:
The extra popup that opens just displays the genopatch structure and adds checkboxes to the sounds. One checkbox sits above them all (for select all) and one below each "tree" or bubble snake or whatever i should call it... and yeah. A export button that takes you to a (choose folder window) OR you set a folder once and it puts it there.
Naming them can of course also be automated as it applies a naming scheme that corresponds with the bubblesnakes or patch / sample information / the name the sample has...
Or even crazier and not really realistic but hey --- (it detects what it could "maybe" be as a sound, like Sononym and you could also add that as a naming helper...)
I don't know if anybody could pull this off...
Or if it maybe even tickles the fingers of the developer(s)...
But that would most certainly be a sound designers and sample lovers wet dream :)
Im curious about your thoughts :)
All the best.
