I have been having an issue with my projects (all made in versions of FL studio, mostly versions 20 and 21) where my Kick drums show on the mixer as playing sound but no sound is coming out. I make all my kick drums with Microtonic. This has been an issue since early last year.

I have noticed that there is an update to install for Microtonic but it requires me to uninstall and reinstall the VST, will this fix my sound issue and also will it 'break' my projects because it has to be uninstalled for the update?

I have used Microtonic for many many years and have never had an issue with it until last year, the kick drums I make on there are part of my signature sound and I would love to be able to finish the projects I have been working on over the years.

have you checked to see if you are using the multi plugin (16ch) instead of the standard (4ch)? make sure you've built out your plugin wrapper for multiple outputs if you're using Microtonic Multi
