Hi! If my audio sample is a chord, then the MIDI instrument recreated by synplant will give me a chord even if I press only 1 key. Is there a way for it to understand that it is a chord, and output and instrument so that if I press only 1 note, it won't be polyphonic? Thanks!

No, it will try to replicate the sound you give it. You need to isolate the source to 1 note to search for solutions that sound like just 1 note.

Hello, Is there an update to this? I'm trying out the Trial version and I like what I'm hearing so far. If the software can understand the chord and out the instrument so I can press 1 note, it won't be polyphonic, then I will definitely buy this!
