Macros are used to have several parameter values assigned to one knob/fader. It's possible to have macros in ableton rack form but it would be fun to have macros built in synplant, so we could store the assignments inside patches and recall.

bonus idea: being able to randomize the parameter assignments - or store them independently from patches
