Wondering if anyone can help me out of this simple pickle I've got myself into. I can't seem to figure how to point the preset search function to the right file location. I've done a re-install all to no avail.

When I click on the preset search bar at the top of Microtonic all I get is the error message in the following attached picture file.....

257 means "permission error". Did MacOS, by any chance, ask for permission for Microtonic to read from this directory, and you accidentally clicked "no"?

You could try to choose "Open Preset" from the main menu to see if it helps.
