I know I know, that's not very professional. Samples should be available in a lossless format and all that. But I still carry around some old samples from times when I still thought I need to reduce file sizes in sample folders lol. I'd say this is not the most important feature request of all time, but if you ever have a minute of free time and wanna experiment with some mp3-encoding in your code you could take the opportunity to upgrade the sample import a little :)
Besides that I'd really prefer FLAC import. <:
oh yeah, flac would be an even higher priority to me as well, now that you said it. but yeah, with all the people here talking about how the plugin maxes out their cpus and crashes i think we'll have to wait with this rather optional feature request :)
Yes, FLAC support would be so welcome! I also have many sounds converted to FLAC and would like to use them in Synplant. I will contact SonicCharge asking about adding FLAC support and encourage everyone to do the same.

Well, I'd say this "feature request" thread should be enough. If everybody would contact SonicCharge now, this would not be good manners and definitely would not speed up things, in the end. They carefully read these forums anyway, by the way. So from now on we just should wait. They cannot do magic. At least not all the time. d-:

I see your point. However, I generally assume that developers don’t have the chance to read everything posted in their forums. Reaching out directly – always in a polite and well-mannered way, of course 😉 – helps ensure they’re aware of a request. It’s been quite successful for me in the past.
Magnus and Fredrik do read their forum quite well, for sure. (;
Yes, we do read everything, even if we don't always answer.
I have noted down the request for supporting more audio formats.
Cool, thank you!
