Thanks for all the hard work you do to bring world-class audio tools to studios worldwide.
We are reviewing our studio contingency plans.
Given your somewhat complicated server-based software authentication scheme and the way things are going in the world, we wanted to ask: What is your plan for continuity of user licenses if servers go down, etc.? How will your users be able to utilize your software in perpetuity if live authentication is no longer possible? Is there a backup plan?

Hey there,
Good questions!
First of all, we've tried to minimize our products' reliance on server communication. Each new installation needs to be authenticated once, and as long as the machine identifier does not change, the installation will continue to work without any connection to our servers.
How will your users be able to utilize your software in perpetuity if live authentication is no longer possible? Is there a backup plan?
Secondly, we do have offline/manual registrations available, so that our software can work on studio computers that are not internet-connected. Go to your account page, there you will find your license information. Save this information together with a copy of the latest software installer in a safe place and your great-great-grandchildren will be able to enjoy our products.
Thank you very much for your detailed reply and for providing the offline activation solution.
