    Hi,
Does anyone know if it’s possible to load fxp/fxb in Cyclone using Cubase ?
I have loaded them in Cyclone (vst64 only not vst3) using Reaper and they work perfectly.
Hoping someone knows how to do this.
    Best regards
    Mike.

If you are running the latest Cyclone you can always right-click the UI:

    Only .fxb though, not .fxp.

    Hi Magnus,
Thank you, my mistake is trying to load .fxp……duh!
There’s another issue with Cubase 10.5 it will only see the vst3 version of Cyclone despite having the x64 plugin installed?
Is it possible to change the name of the cyclone x64 to get Cubase to recognise it?
    Best regards,
    Mike.

Cubase 10.5 (x86 / Rosetta) can load the VST2, but Cubase prefers VST3, and our plugins have the same IDs for VST2 and VST3, so only the VST3s will be visible.

If you uninstall our plugins you can install them again and deselect the VST3 option.

Our plugins are nearly identical in VST2 and VST3 format, but VST2 has some features that VST3 doesn't have, e.g., more sophisticated MIDI support in Microtonic. The VST3s on the other hand, will work a little better in Cubase when it comes to changing UI scale and recording MIDI CC as parameter changes.

Personally, I am still sticking to our VST2 versions.

    Hi,
Thank you for the advice. I will uninstall and use the vst2 only.
    Best regards,
    Mike.
