Regarding licence: I guess the version updates are still free. But correct me if I am wrong.
Buy It and download the installers appropriate to your system & requirements. It's not hard at all... rather multiplying 10 x 10 would seem harder if you don't understand your computer at this point and know where your plugins are all located. ;)
