No, sorry it is not possible. But please note that you can preview any patch within the open dialog without actually opening the patch. As you select a file in the browse dialog that sound is temporarily used for that Synplant instance. So you can easily scroll through all the sounds in a folder and play it via MIDI without going back and forth in the open dialog.
