When setting the noise osc filter to self oscillate ( reso at max ) and a fast decay the ouptut gain is fluctuating .
Set noise to frequency to band pass ( around 800 hz )
Reso to max
instant attack , and fast decay
Mix to 100 noise , no distortion and eq and no modulation whatsoever
It gets really bad when q is near self oscilation

Also happens whn playing chromatically
