I write every now and then, sometimes over year between posts, about how much I love Permt8.
I often wonder at how underrated the plugin is. I can understand that the bit shifting can be intimidating, but it can also be much simpler, especially with the amazing firmwares.

Now, Softube releases OTO Biscuit, à similar concept in 8-bit form, for a lot of money. Some people are going crazy over it. I’m demoing myself this weekend.

But I’m again puzzled by how Permut8 just flies under the radar

Anyway, just taking this opportunity to express my love for Permut8. Would love to see it as a module for Softube Modular or Reason RE, or even in a hardware form. But if it stays the way it is, that is still more than enough.
