Piano2ss v1.1

This is my second attempt at creating a superior piano sound for the

TX-16w. It contains a mixture of some samples that I made from a Korg

SG-1d, a Yamaha Clavinova, and the Steinway samples from the archives.

This is a Typhoon-only set.

The first performance is vanilla. The second has a wideband filter,

and the third has a low lowpass filter which is tied to velocity,

thus changing the timbre of the sound with respect to velocity. I'm

not sure yet if I like the latter, but I will probably update this

set as I find better filtering methods.

All performances use 2 groups - one normal, and one for the

very high register, so I could get different envelopes.

New for v1.1 is a velocity crossfade, using a new filter from Magnus

called lopass.t01. This filter must be copied off the piano2ss disk

onto your Typhoon system disk. Rename the original filter with a .t01

extention to something else in case you want to return to the

original. Of course, I can't be responsible for your Typhoon disk if

you do this, but I can say that you will be very pleased with the

results if you do :) Anyway, I crossfaded the heavily filtered voice

with an unfiltered voice, and I think I'm really on to something!

Enjoy, and please feel free to post your own review of my work!
