About µTonic
µTonic (pronounced "MicroTonic") is a VST / AU plug-in for Windows and Mac featuring a unique drum and percussion synthesizer combined with a pattern based drum-machine engine.
You can use µTonic as a sound module to play drum sounds from your MIDI keyboard or sequencer, or you can use the built-in pattern engine to play drum patterns in sync with your sequencer. The sound of µTonic is 100% synthetic and rendered in real-time. No samples or pre-rendered waveforms are used.
µTonic was created by Magnus Lidström. Magnus is known for his work with Propellerhead Software and XLN Audio. In particular, he was the brain behind the highly acclaimed Malström synthesizer introduced in Reason 2.0.

µTonic Patternarium
There are thousands of computer generated µTonic presets available for royalty free use in µTonic Patternarium. You can listen to them directly online, download or copy any preset directly into your µTonic. You can also participate in the rhythm evolution by voting on what you do and do not like.
Requirements
Try It
For evaluation purposes you are allowed to try µTonic for up to three weeks with full functionality. The trial begins the first time you open µTonic in your host sequencer. µTonic then only subtracts weeks from the trial time when you actually use it.

µTonic is a plug-in that require a host application that supports VST 2.4 or Audio Unit 2 plug-ins. If you do not have a host application you can still try out µTonic by downloading a free host such as VSTHost for Windows or VSTLord for Mac.
